Terms of Use for Hainect

Effective 17 October 2026.

  1. Who we are. Hainect (hainect.com and the Hainect app for iPhone and Android). Contact and DSA point of contact: contact@hainect.com; postal
    address on request.
  2. Who can use Hainect. You must be at least 13; under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's
permission. Where the law requires it (for example in Texas, USA), the app checks your age range with Apple or Google Play before it opens, and anyone under 13 isn't let in. You're responsible for your account and password.
  3. What Hainect is. A knowledge network with questions, answers and AI. AI answers are
always labelled. AI and other people can be wrong; nothing here is professional (medical, legal,
    financial) advice.
  4. Zero tolerance. Hainect has zero tolerance for offensive content and abusive behaviour.
Don't post harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, violence, content that harms children,
illegal content, self-harm encouragement, spam or advertising, misleading content, other
people's personal information, or content you don't have the right to share.
  5. Moderation. Everything is checked automatically (rules and AI) before it's published, and
you're told why if it's stopped. Every question and answer can be reported from its "…" menu, also without an account (then by email to contact@hainect.com). If you report illegal content, explain why it's illegal. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules or the law, and tell the person who reported it what we decided. You can hide everyone
else's posts from a person. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts for repeated or
serious violations. You'll get a message with the reason, and you can ask for a human review at
contact@hainect.com within six months, or go to court.
  6. Your content. It's yours. By posting, you let Hainect display, translate, summarise and
store it in the service while it stays up. Deleting a post or your account removes it.
  7. AI in Hainect. Hainect uses AI to answer questions, review posts and translate content. The AI runs either on your device or through Hainect's server with our providers. AI features that need your consent are only used if you agree, and you can change this in Settings. AI answers are always labelled, and the AI can be wrong.
  8. Ending. Delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web.
We may end the service or accounts that break these terms.
  9. Liability. Hainect is free and provided as is. We're not responsible for content written by
other people or AI, or decisions based on it, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing here
limits your rights as a consumer.
  10. Changes. We'll announce major changes in advance. Minor changes, such as clarifications, apply once published here with a new date.
  11. Disputes. As an EU consumer you keep the protection of the law where you live.
  12. Copyright. If you believe content on Hainect infringes your copyright, email contact@hainect.com with a link to the content and your contact details. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
